Paul Milne

Obituary of Paul Bruce Milne

MILNE, Paul Bruce – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children by his side, at the Parkwood Institute, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the age of 75. Loving husband of Judy (nee Callan) for over 51 years. Paul raised 3 amazing and supportive children in London: Kim (Tony) Brinovec of Midland, Chris (Carrie) Milne of London, and Carolyn (Jason) Lawrence of Port Elgin.  Papa to 8 loving grandchildren: Jake, Ellea, Chad, Noah, Grace, Zack, Eve, and Kate.  He adored his grandchildren and they equally adored him. He was a big kid at heart – always ready with a joke, a gumball, or some fun game to entertain them and make them laugh. Family was everything to him! Paul is survived by his sister Daphne (Don) Petrie, as well as his brothers-in-law Dennis (Lillian) Callan and Peter (Sharon) Callan. Paul will forever remain in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Paul was born in London, Ontario, 9 months after his father arrived home from serving in WWII overseas. Paul worked for over 30 years as an accountant for the Federal Government. He loved the outdoors; biking, golf, fishing, and baseball. He could always be found either cheering on his kids or grandkids playing sports or watching sports on T.V. He was the Leaf’s #1 fan - his wish was to see the Leaf’s win the Stanley Cup one day.

Cremation has taken place. A family Celebration of Paul’s Life was conducted on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
