Obituary of Frank Stanley Lazarski
At home suddenly on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in his 83rd year. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Caroll, daughter Susan (Stephen Kurzbock) and son Stephen (Cara Authier) and 7 grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Mary McGowan and Helen Campbell, his sister-in-law Mary Lazarski, and by his nieces and nephews.
Frank was an avid sailor from his days as a sea cadet and spent many years sailing with his family. Other special moments included family skiing trips and car racing. He also enjoyed many camping and rock-climbing adventures with Stephen. For many years, Frank happily spent time in horse barns while Susan enjoyed riding and showing horses. He was always content to play on the floor with his grandchildren, who adored and loved him. Frank loved being surrounded by family and his pets and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky to know him.
During his career with the Royal Bank of Canada, Frank and his family lived in three different provinces. Frank travelled extensively from coast to coast and throughout Canada.
Cremation has taken place. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frank are asked to consider the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre, as Frank always had a soft spot for the animals in his life.
