Peter “Poppa” Tiller

In loving memory of Peter “Poppa” Tiller who passed away surrounded by family on July 5, 2024, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Verna Belle Tiller (deceased), with whom he is now forever reunited. Dear father of Peter (Louise) of Barrie, Ontario; Stephen of Nassau, Bahamas; and Sandra (Bruce) of London, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Ashlee, Wesley, Veronica, Peter, Sarah, Jacob and Abby. Dear brother of Bride, James, Albert, Carol, Stella (all deceased) and Percy (Sol).

Peter was a pillar of unwavering strength and positivity throughout his life journey, inspiring to all who knew him. Poppa loved filling the house with music, love and laughter. Born and raised in Newfoundland, his love of the people, the culture and the sheer beauty of the land always remained a part of him that he loved to share through stories and songs with his family and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
