At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Monday, January 22, 2024, with family by his side, Mike Melo of London in his 47th year. Husband, best friend and soulmate of Lisa. Proud and adored Daddy of Lucas and William. Dear son of Maria and the late Manuel. Survived also by his brothers Peter and Brian, sister Patricia, parents-in-law Debbie, Kevin (Beth), brother-in-law Ryan (Melissa) and sister-in-law Denise (Matt). Much loved uncle to Olivia, Payton, Eve, Alexis, Mya and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mike are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice of London.

Adrianna, Cassandra and family. My deepest condolences on the loss of your nephew/cousin. May he rest in eternal peace.
I had the honour of working with Mike over the years, his love for others was unmatched. Only good memories with him, and a smile always accompanies when I think of him. Everyone knows a good story with Mike in it, he will live on in our harts. We are all blessed to have had him in ours lives.

Mike was my partner in crime growing up. He always looked out for me. I've never met a more caring person, his smile and laugh was infectious and would always light up the room. A True family man til the end, he will be greatly missed by so many people. My condolences to Lisa and the boys and the rest of the Melo family love you guys!
Mike will forever be missed here at Blue-Con Construction. He was a great co worker to all who worked with him and always had a smile on his face. Mike was the best. Mike never spoke ill of anyone. Always had a smile on his face. Constantly laughing and joking around. He was an amazing soul & human being. I am sending all the love to the Melo family, Lisa and the kids. No one quite like Mike ❤️ Rest in the sweetest peace, hope you are riding that mini bike in heaven ❤️🕊️

I only knew Mike at blue con for about the last 10 years and never was he a sad face he was always so bright filled with joy and happiness . He will be remembered for his amazing spirit and hopefully lives on through his boys he was always so proud to be a father and has been taken way too early. Thinking of his family , my condolences 💐 He always loved to joke about napping in the bedding box one day I caught hiding in the shade ! Loved that guy

I’m very saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. To me, he was affectionately known as “Poker Mike.” It had been a while since we had a game, but I will never forget the laughs he brought to the many games we had back in the day. My condolences to all his family, especially his wife and children. May you rest in peace, Mike. I look forward to joining you in a heavenly game of poker when my time comes.
