Michael “Mike” Kwiecien

Michael “Mike” Kwiecien passed away suddenly at home on August 20th, 2024, at 45 years old.
He leaves behind an unwavering legacy as a loving father to Sydney and Carter (and two and a half cats) as well as a beloved son of Kathryn and Stanley (Lorraine), and brother to Jeremy (Sarah). He was also a cherished uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Mike was truly a caring and dedicated individual. He lived life on his own terms, but was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Ever knowledgeable and with a steadfast work ethic, there was nothing Mike couldn’t accomplish if he put his mind to it. He was proud of working as an electrician at the St. Thomas Ford plant and after, at Autoneum, as well as teaching robotics at Fanshawe College. He will be dearly missed in an infinite number of ways – the world is dimmer in his absence.
A celebration of life will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. there will be memories shared by family and friends. It will be a casual affair, as anyone who knew Mike knew he was anything but formal. Those who knew him are encouraged to attend and share memories and stories.
Any wishing to make a donation in memory of Mike are asked to consider a local animal shelter.

Mike and I worked at Ford together found out we had the same birthdays we became friends right away, he was always there for me and I was there for him. He messaged me dec 2023 and said we needed to get together for coffee we didn't make it. I'm so sorry I will miss him like crazy. Greatest guy I ever knew.

Mike was a wonderful work partner. He and I worked together at Ford on the bodyside assembly area, and it was a pleasure to help him in his apprenticeship. Never a bad word about anyone, a great person to be around.
