Remembering a good, fun loving friend from our days at Smiths Falls Hospital. Our condolences.
What a lovely photo of dear Ellen! Since she called me last summer about her diagnosis and treatment, I have thought of and prayed for her daily. Unfortunately, our last chat was in October. The world has lost a wonderful, kind, caring and lively gal far too soon! It was a privilege to have known her as a colleague and friend. I have already missed our visits over lunch or dinner. To Nicola, Stacey, Matt and Paul, my very sincere sympathies.
Ellen and I go right back to our childhood and she stood so proudly with me at my wedding 43 years ago today. She was kind, compassionate and such a beautiful person. May knowing we are lifting all of you up in our prayers and in the days ahead know that she is watching over you and will always live in your hearts. Hugs Earl and Cathy Ryan
Nicola, I am shocked and saddened by the loss of your mom. I didn't know she was sick. I am at my cottage in Nova Scotia but we still live around the corner from where you lived in London. It sounds like you took care of your mom. What a wonderful daughter. Your mom had the greatest personality and she was a lovely person. I am sorry I am not going to get to spend time with her again. I am sorry your family had to lose her. Sally (Bryson, Ashleigh, Fraser's Mom)
Ellen was always a bright light in clinic. Her smile was infectious. We will miss her very much.

Dear Stacey, Nicola, Mark, and Don, My heartfelt condolences. Although I did not know Ellen well, I remember her as a beautiful woman of remarkable abilities: her amazing quilts that are works of art; her athleticism as a skier; and as an adventurous, world traveler - to name but a few of her talents! Thinking of you all at this tough time. Regards, Cydna Mercer
