It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Malik McDonnell-Mills on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Born January 25, 2007, to Awudu “Karim” Mills (Kissie) and Jennifer McDonnell. In addition to his parents Malik is survived by his grandparents, Janet and Sylvester Mills, Jeremiah and Carol McDonnell, his siblings, Makayla, Mosiah, Zion, Iziah, Malcolm and 5 stepsiblings, as well as his many cousins, aunts Mariama, Sefia, Aisha, and Stephanie, his uncles, Abbass, Peter and Mark. Malik loved music and his best friend Aiden. Malik hoped to one day work in the music industry. Malik had many friends, was gifted and well-liked. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
The funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Ave North, London on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

My deepest condolences, to the family. I’m sorry for your loss. He was always smiling, I remember see him running around your complex, playing man hunt with all the kids in the complex. Again my deepest condolences any thing you need please don’t hesitate to ask unit 11.

We are away right now and unfortunately not able to be in attendance tomorrow. Malik will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so saddened that his young life was taken before its natural time. My deepest condolences to Mosiah and the rest of his family.

I didn't know Milik but I am deeply sorry that this has happened to Milik and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
