John William “Jack” Green

Peacefully at McCormick Home, on Monday, July 4, 2022, Jack Green of London, formerly of Tillsonburg, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Donna (Hart) for 74 years. Loving father of Scott Green (Leslie) and Heather Hill (Mark). Adored Papa to Judy Green, Jim Green, Jason Green, Aleatha Green, Matthew Hill, and Rebecca Hill. Also loved by his 5 great-grandchildren, his sister Shirley Dean, his brother Bob Green (Donna), and good friends Nelson and Terry Armstrong. Predeceased by son Jack, daughter-in-law Marilyn, and his brother-in-law Don Dean. Jack was a Forester for Ontario Hydro for over 35 years. He was a dedicated volunteer with Scouts Canada and later Trees Canada for many years.
Cremation has taken place. Jack’s cremated remains will be interred at Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners or Scouts Canada.

On behalf of Richards Memorial Church, I wish to extend condolences on behalf of the Church Family. I recognize the picture but did not know him personally.
A donation has been made to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners with deepest sympathy from Bob and Donna and family.
On behalf of the faith community of Richards Memorial United Church, we express our condolences on the loss of Jack. He will be remembered with a smile by many at Richards. Our prayers and care to all of you.

Our heartfelt condolences to all the Green family. We had the honour of being friends and neighbours if Jack’s for 55 years and our lives are so much richer for our relationship with this helpful, quietly witty man. We will forever miss and remember our dear friend, Jack!

I knew Scouter Green from my Scouting time with the 66 th Scout Troop at the Richard's Memorial church. He was an excellent leader. My sincere sympathies to the Green family.
