John Wayne Moir

It’s with great sadness that the family announces the passing of John at Parkwood Hospital in London, Ontario on January 4, 2024 at age 80.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (2020).  Loving Dad to Kim (Perry Van Eck), Sherry Moir, Kevin Moir (Tracy) and Shannon Moir.  Cherished Papa to Justin (Tyson), Nicole (Justin), Jaime (Curt), Christie (Eris) and Peyton.  Papa John to his great-grandchildren Noah, Niya, Navy and Lotus.  Dear brother to Jim Moir (Phyllis).  Predeceased by Gary Moir and Greg Moir.  Brother-in-law to Cathy Kennedy (Charlie).

John loved playing golf, baseball and hockey (Huff & Puff).  He was the “retired breadman”, having worked at Canada Bread.

Visitation will be at the Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service being conducted on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 1:30 p.m.
