I just read the posting on Hugh. Sally, Cait and John I am sorry for your loss but happy that Hugh’s strong faith that assured him to Heaven and into the arms of Jesus. To the other family members I don’t know, condolences. Comfort each other with hugs from Go.d. Hugh was preaching the Sunday that I first attended Main Street Baptist Church. The second Sunday there, he remembered my name! I was surprised and knew this was a church I would attend with my children. Sally, Vincent always loved your treats. It was the same time he asked Jesus into his heart and you encouraged him. Laura too enjoyed time with you. I remember Hugh announced his going to Halifax, booked for a new kidney transplant. He explained how grateful he was and how blessed he felt. He shared his life journey with me and the drug abuse he overcame. Not an easy journey but God brought him through. Sally and I thought Cait and Vincent might be a couple one day. John, we remember your attending the teen’s group, your handsomeness and faith. You wandered away for a while but your parents loved and prayed for both children. We praised God when you returned and knew God heard the many prayers for you. In closing, please know that we will meet Hugh again one day soon. Hugh is happy now and is no longer in pain. He has gone ahead of us but is waiting for the day we will join him. May you all feel comforted with special memories of happy times with Hugh. Know his great faith embraced each one of you. He shared the gospel message and relied on the Holy Spirit to come into each one. Hugh will be missed but not forgotten. ✝️

Sally, John & Cait, Please accept my deepest sympathy. I loved being around Hugh, he was so kind, witty and loved to laugh. Hugh & my dad were quite the pair.
