Eva Anne Pettit
December 26, 1944 - May 1, 2021
Our family is utterly devastated to share the news that our beloved wife, mother, and Nana passed away peacefully in London on May 1, 2021.
Eva Anne Pettit (McGuire) was born December 26, 1944 in Windsor, Ontario to Douglas Van Norman McGuire and Nada Lucille Hall. Known as “Sis” and “Eve-Ann” to her close friends and family, she was a big-hearted, hardworking woman who loved with abandon and was well liked by those who knew her.
Growing up, she worked in McGuire’s Drive-In, the diner owned and operated by her parents in London. After business college, she worked at EMCO for nearly 40 years before retiring. Her golden years were spent spoiling her children, grandchildren and fur-babies.
Eva has joined her parents, brother Doug, sister-in-law Carolyn and brother-in-law Gerry, in Heaven. Left to mourn this loss is her husband, Don; daughters Amy (Bill), Sherri and Michelle (Adam); grandchildren Scot (Jessika), Darian, Conner, and Arianna; sister Maureen; in-laws Marilyn, Doug and Yvette; and many nieces and nephews.
As per Eva’s wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Eva are asked to consider JDRF and Diabetes Canada. To make a donation or to leave an online condolence, please click the links to the left of the obituary.
