Elizabeth “Betty” Oerlemans (née Kruyssen)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Oerlemans on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Betty passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home in Dorchester, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Tony Oerlemans (2021). Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and Oma. Betty will be missed by her daughters Jo-Ann (Mark) Thibideau and Carol (John) Howe; grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Dench, Ty (Brooke) Thibideau and Nicole Braber (Dale Percival); great-grandchildren, Vaughn Dench, Warren Dench, Tatum Thibideau, Georgia Thibideau and Rya Percival.
Betty is predeceased by her daughter Janet (2019), her parents and her siblings.
A private family service will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel, London with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donation may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Southwestern Ontario.
