Ed Kinberger

Sadly and without warning we lost our beloved husband, father and Grumpa, at his home on Friday, February 7, 2025,  in his  73rd year. Cherished husband of Judy (née Sullivan) of 47 years. Amazing father of Kate Reinwald (Bill), Diana Bujold (Kris), and Eddy Kinberger (Miranda).  Devoted Grumpa of Jacob, Justin, Jacob, Connor, and Alina.  Also loved by his sister Nancy Kinberger and his many family and friends.  Predeceased by his parents Edward and Vera and stepfather Joe McCann.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with remembrances of Ed at 6:30 p.m. At his request, there will be no tears but lots of laughter.

Dear Judy and Family, I was deeply saddened to read this just now. I worked with Ed for almost 10 years and he was so supportive and wonderful to me always. He would take me on ride alongs and make me change dip tubes which looking back helped me to gain confidence and learn so many things. He always felt much like a father figure to me and for that I will always be grateful. I am so sorry for your loss and know that Ed will always be missed and never forgotten. RIP Ed.

To Judy and family, my sincere condolences for the sudden passing of Ed. As a co-worker, I remember he always had a smile and friendly greeting, sometimes followed by a scowl, but always left you with a smile. May you find comfort in the memories you shared.

Ed Kinberger is hands down the greatest family man we have ever met. He loved his wife as much on his last day as he did in their first day. The love he had for his children and grandchildren is unsurpassed. There was nothing this man wouldn't do for someone if it was possible. I feel blessed and honoured to have had the pleasure of spending time with him. Our loss is heaven's gain. Our deepest heartfelt condolences to Ed's family and friends. Love always, Joanne & Dale.

~ Joanne Reinwald
