“It is never easy to put into words a day of sadness. Dad has passed away. Gloria was by his side. He was able to tell her he loved her earlier, which I know will give her some comfort. She has been his rock. Thank you all for your support and prayers for them. He fought hard. We are so thankful that they decided to rededicate their lives to the Lord again. They started and ended each day with their bible devotions. I know he was able to share with most of you his thoughts and feelings, and for that I will always be grateful.”

Uncle Donald will always be remembered by his sweet smile and kindness each and every time we saw each other. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
I admired Don's strength and attitude in dealing with the pain and difficulties caused by the amputation of his shoulder and arm. He was inspiring. I truly appreciate the love he had with my sister, Gloria, and I am grateful that they found each other. Don's love of Jesus is also inspirational and there is comfort in realizing that Don is now beyond the pain and safe in the arms our Saviour.
