David was an interesting guy never backing down from a challenge. Conversations beyond his years. Loving the outdoors. May your memories comfort you. May he rest in peace and enjoy a slice of his favourite pie with his heavenly grandma who he spoke so fondly of.

A unique soul who we watched grow up into a handsome young man. We will miss him on the waters. Condolences to my dear friend Laura and her entire family.
David always made me feel like the most special uncle. At every family dinner, there was always a seat reserved for me -- right beside him. And even though I didn't always understand what he was explaining to me, I always enjoyed our chats together.

Jim, Laura and Trish I am so sorry for your loss. David was a one of a kind person and cousin. I remember many family thanksgiving and Christmases spent with him, sharing stories of life, school, and how he would explain something new he had learned or figured out. I don't think I've ever met someone as passionate and enthusiastic about their interests. His unique point of view had me thinking differently after each conversation. David beat to his own drum the whole time I knew him. I'm sad that life and time took us far from each other. I would have liked to have more time with him as an adult. I always enjoyed his videos online of his urban parkouring, or pictures of nature or how high he could climb. There will always be a seat that can never be filled the same way next to his Uncle John. I will always remember the many dinners, Easter egg hunts and family time at Gramma Kellie's. Those were some very special years ❤️. I hope one day we can find some of the videos Aunt Laura took of all of us together as cousins.... Me, Winona, George, David and Trish. A wild pack of 5 we could be at times. Thinking and praying for you all. Nick, Luthien and I are always here for you all.
