At Victoria Hospital on Monday, June 10, 2024, with his family at his side, Danny Bernardo of London in his 69th year. Beloved husband of 47 years to Helia. Loving father of Sandy (Dustin) Bernardo-Dyer and Kevin (Basilia) Bernardo, all of London. Loving and proud Vovô to Vienna, Myah, Arya, Amara and Charlotte. Sadly missed also by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and by his many nieces and nephews. Danny loved you all so very much. Predeceased by his parents Maria Lucia and José Bernardo.
Danny’s visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service, at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Alan Calcutt and Pastor Jackson Rondini of New Horizons Baptist Church officiating. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Danny are asked to consider the Kidney Care Centre, c/o the London Health Sciences Foundation.
Danny’s family wish to express sincere gratitude to the staff and doctors at Victoria and University Hospitals, and especially to Mary-Jo and Joclyn for their genuine and heartfelt care.

Our condolences goes out to Helia and all the family. may our Lord Jesus Christ give you all comfort and peace in your harts in this time of grief. Brother Daniel was well LOVED at our Church. we will miss him very much.
This man taught us what it means to always welcome anyone into a home . His kindness and generosity was one of a kind. Such a proud loving father of Sandi & Kevin and such a truly loving devoted husband to his love of his life, Helia . A doting Grandfather to his beautiful Grand daughters. This man is a true definition of love . Everyone loves him and will, for so many years to come . We will all miss him . My fondest memory was when he bent down on his knees to put on Helia’s shoes at Sandi and Dustin’s wedding . My heart melted as I witnessed a true love for his wife. A one of kind Gentleman.
