Catharine Jane Dugas (née Risnyj)
Peacefully taken into the arms of her Lord at University Hospital, on Sunday, July 7, 2024, Catharine Dugas of London, at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of Gene for 48 years. Loving mother of Noah, Mark (the late Yuomi), Nick (Kathleen), Adam (Stacy), Michael (Alanna) and her step-daughter, Lisa Sedley (Richard). Also loved by her 9 grandchildren: Brayden, Jaylin, Aubrie, Trista, Brendan, Brielle, Sean, Zack, Joshua and Spencer. Dear sister of Charlotte Risnyj-Hellinga (Hank), Julie, and Peter.
A funeral service will be conducted at Highbury Gospel Hall, 1196 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation two hours prior. There is a livestream of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. for those unable to attend in person. Please click on the link below to join:

Aunt Catherine will be missed. Sincerely. I have lots of memories while growing up involved in life with her and later in adult years visits. Time spent with her was never disappointing . when I had chances to visit it was just like time stood still and never aged her a bit ! Loving mom and dog mom , as well as a great aunt. Will miss you 😔
Cathy we will dearly miss your sweet soul. From the first time I met you nearly 40 years ago you have been the kindest, sweetest, most helpful sister (in-law) that anyone could hope for. I loved you from the first time we met when you came to Toronto to support your sister (Charlotte) during her neck surgery. You have always been there when we needed your help. We don't have enough words to describe how much we will miss you. We love you, we will miss your smile and we will see you again.
