Peacefully at home, Caesar Furtado Demelo of London, at age 76. Beloved husband of Dolores Demelo. Cherished father of daughters Anne-Marie Demelo Gerber (Douglas), Michelle Lenehan (the late Chris Lenehan), Dolores Demelo (John Fraleigh), Jennifer Demelo Dupuis (Kevin) and son Jorge Demelo. Missed by siblings Emmanuel Demelo (Kathleen), Dorothy Drake (Douglas), George Demelo and Eleanor Bennett (Chris). Predeceased by sister Teresa Daponte (Urbano) and parent Manuel and Honorinda Demelo. Proud Vovo to grandchildren Mia Demelo Schmitt (Collin), Angelica Demelo, Riley Lenehan, Tegan Lenehan, Corey Lenehan, Addison Dupuis, Charlotte Dupuis, and Alexis Dupuis. Adored by great-grandchildren Amelia Demelo and Emery Schmitt. He will be missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Mausoleum, London.

Dad, thank you for teaching me how to be a strong person and a hard worker. Your love for my children will be cherished forever. They will miss your visits with portuguese buns "our bun fairy". We all were so blessed to have known Caesar and his wonderful family. When the Lord called Caesar to his heavenly home, he left us with many memories of the fun times we all shared at Mesa Regal. We hold you all safe in our hearts at this time of sadness.❤️

Goodbye Uncle Caesar, Thanks for having the fun house with the big pool for all of us to enjoy as kids. I’ll always remember how sad you were when mom passed, and the stories my dad told me of you welcoming him with laughter, pranks, and fun when he moved to Canada. Say hi to mom and John for us.
