Dear Charlene, We enjoyed getting to spend time with you and Art when the boys played for the Old Sports. Jim would say, I can't believe I'm playing hockey with Art Paquette. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Charlene & family - I was sorry to hear of Art's passing. I have many great memories of playing hockey with him with the East London Old Sports for many years. He was always a great competitor and a better teammate. The Old Sports remember him as a key member of our group. Rest in Peace Art.
One of my fondest memories growing up was attending the CNRA Nationals JR B hockey games in the old barn at Queen's Park. Packed to the wooden rafters, thick with cigarette smoke, raucous crowd, raucous hockey. But we had one of the most exciting lines you ever saw, The French Line, long before the Sabre's one, Gilles St Jacques, Butch Bouchard and Art Paquette. Thanks Arty. Sincere Condolences to the Paquette Family.
