Anthony Peter Oerlemans
May 21, 1928 - July 18, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Peter Oerlemans on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in his 94th year, at University Hospital, London Ontario. As per his desire, Tony passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Tony was a beloved husband, dad, ‘Grampa’, and ‘Opa’. In 1953, he solely immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands and was very proud of being a Canadian.
Tony will be missed and remembered fondly by his wife, Betty; daughters Jo-Ann (Mark) Thibideau and Carol (John) Howe. Missed by his grandchildren Michelle (Mike) Dench, Ty Thibideau, Nicole Braber (Dale Percival), and his great-grandchildren Vaughn Dench, Warren Dench, Tatum Thibideau, and Georgia Thibideau.
Tony is predeceased by his daughter Janet (2019), his parents, and his siblings.
A private family service will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, followed by interment at St. Peters Cemetery.

We are sorry to hear about Tony, he was a very kind man with a great deal of integrity. He always loved a good joke and we always enjoyed the time we spent with him. We will miss him. All the best to your family and we are thinking of you. Brian, Kim and Tyler Jackson.
