Brian Paul Kloth

April 14, 2025

Brian “Klother” Kloth, On Monday, April 14, 2025 of Ilderton tragically passed away in his 50th year. Devoted husband to Lisa Kloth and loving daddy of Sofia and Evalina Kloth. Dear son of Bernie and Rene Kloth. Loved and missed by siblings, extended family and a plethora of friends. He will leave a legacy of being Klothesome, long haired “super good-looking”, man of his word and a straight shooter. He will be known for his heart of gold, he was an angel. Brian was always ready to help someone else and make it happen. He was brilliant, competitive in nature and an all-star Junior AAA hockey champion. Enjoyed the wilder side of life and all the characters that came with it. Graduated from Waterloo “Wu” University with an Engineering degree and a valued member of the Aecom Engineering firm for 17 years.  Respected by all in his field. Charismatic to say the least and larger than life. Went out in life the way he lived it. Lit up the room and made his presence apparent, as well as being a generous soul and nonjudgmental problem solver. An epic debater with a genuine purpose to help others. Leader, strong, dedicated, loyal and a free thinker and a caring man. Could be known as a life counsellor and a handy man who could figure anything out. His home was his castle that he took pride in making it complete. Passionate about fishing and enjoyed a good game of cribbage and was always willing to give’err. From the garage was always on neighbourhood watch. Always a provider. Lived several lifetimes in a short period. Will always be a bright light and his spirit will surround us.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his memory to Salt Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre or Trust Fund for his daughters Sofia and Evalina Kloth (GoFundMe). His celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

My heart goes out to the Kloth family—Lisa, Sophia, Evalina, Deb, Raymond, his parents, and countless friends. Words cannot express the sorrow of losing Brian, a man truly one of a kind. His larger-than-life presence lit up every room. Brian didn’t just speak his mind; he lived it. He was the friend who always showed up, ready to lend a hand or connect you with “a guy” who could get the job done right. Brian’s network of friends was vast, a testament to his magnetic charisma and genuine heart. He left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Some of my fondest memories are with Brian—road trips belting out tunes (thinking we sounded amazing), camping, fishing, hitting the gym, and sharing countless laughs over drinks. He tackled life with unmatched passion, excelling at nearly everything he set his mind to. Stubbornly resourceful, he’d find a way to solve any problem, working hard and playing even harder. Brian lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with a carefree spirit and packing a lifetime of experiences into too short a time. Intelligent, hardworking, and endlessly charismatic, he was a gift to his family and friends. Brian, you will be deeply missed, but your light will shine on in our hearts forever. With love always, Chopper (Jason Kennedy and family)

Lisa and your girls, I am so sad for your loss. Brian was a larger than life, brilliant, kind soul. I will remember him as a wild, true to himself kinda person who always had his arms wrapped tightly around his family and friends. He will be greatly missed in this world. No one can match who he was.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Brian’s passing. He will be profoundly missed by all of us who had the privilege of working with him over the years. Brian was instrumental in the successful delivery of countless City infrastructure projects. His technical knowledge, hands-on approach, and ability to find solutions were gifts to the City and the communities we serve. Brian took great pride in his work and brought diligence, competency, and enthusiasm to every project. Brian's skill for his work was always evident, but it was the way Brian treated people that truly set him apart. We often measure projects by what gets built, but the way people are treated along the way leaves just as important a legacy and Brian's legacy in that regard is also exceptional. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Brian’s family, friends, and colleagues. Please know that his contributions will not be forgotten. He made a lasting difference here and we are grateful for the time we had with him. ..... with sympathy from Brian's many friends in Environment & Infrastructure at the City of London

Deepest condolences to Brian’s family, Brian was a bright force to reckon with on any job site that he was in command of, it was always a very interesting meeting, discussion, learning experience when in his presence, I doubt we will ever see a man of his natural talent in the field in the future….. Brian, you will be missed on the job site …..

Lisa, Evey and Sofia, I hope that in time your pain and loss will subside. I know it will be hard but I also know what he would say and do. “Let’s just put our heads down and get it done”. He would talk about it and then get to work doing it. I will forever miss him. He was my friend. He is my brother. “I love you more”
