Glen Esseltine

After a brief illness, at the age of 86, Glen “Hi Beam” Esseltine passed away at University Hospital, on February 16, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Barb for 57 years.  He will be deeply missed by his children Marion (David) Wainman, Crystal (Travis) Esseltine, and Jeff (JoeAnn) Esseltine, his grandchildren Mike, Matt, Mark, Madisyn, and Alyson, and 6 great-grandchildren, his brother in law Ed (Doreen) Bennett, and his nieces and nephew.  He was predeceased by his siblings.

Glen was a life-long sports fan and enthusiastic Leafs, Knights and Blue Jays supporter. 

Per Glen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
