On Saturday, December 23, 2023, C. Ann Steinbach (née Smith) of London, Ontario passed peacefully in her 84th year at the Dearness Home.
Beloved wife of the late Edgar Steinbach and cherished mom of Connie Steinbach of London, Ontario and Karen Steinbach and Clark Jones of Mississauga, Ontario. Adored grandma of Selena Jones and Colin Jones.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Laura (née McCutcheon) Smith.
Loved sister of Carolyn (Bill) Brandon, Joseph Smith, Cora Alcock (Ron Clarkson), Pauline (Bill) Hetherington and sister-in-law, Kae Smith. Predeceased by her siblings Adam Smith and Doreen (Deb) Stewart, and her in-laws Linda Smith, Ross Alcock, Norma (Alan) Walper and Florence (Jim) Hackett.
Many nieces and nephews will remember Aunt Ann for the large and delicious family dinners she loved to host.
Ann was loved by all who knew her and was always willing to jump in where needed (church activities and council, condo social committee, etc.). She was a good listener with an open mind and a loving heart who became the trusted confidant and wise adviser to many friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, Ontario on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend David Wirt will be officiating.

Sincere sympathy to Connie,Karen and all of Ann's family in the loss of a much loved Mom and Grandma. Doug and I and our sons David and Dan remember Christmas get togethers and lots of card games at the Steinbach residence in Zurich. Memories were made.
