Elsie Elisabeth Bloomfield

October 7, 2023

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, surrounded by family, Mom went home to see her loving Saviour. Left behind to grieve are her children Glen (Sandra), Ruth and Diane. Precious Grandma/Nana to Dawn, Valerie and Jamie (Lindsay), Jacob, Meaghen and Eldon, and also four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Elliott and parents Milton and Grace Patterson; brothers and sisters-in-law in the Bloomfield clan whom she loved dearly, and also by nephews Barry, Harvey, and Ken. Cherished and missed by many nieces and nephews whom she was very proud of and loved dearly. This past year Mom grieved the loss of her dear sister-in-law Wanda and mourned her passing daily.

Special thanks to Kim & Evan, who made Mom feel so loved; to Anna & Jim and Jeff & Marie for always visiting and loving on Mom when you were in London, and regularly asking for updates; to Pat, a dear neighbour and friend who had tea with Mom daily; to the family who faithfully prayed, supported us, and always asked how Mom was doing; to Henley Place for their loving care of Mom; and last but not least, thank you to the Stoney Creek Church family, for all the love and support you showed to Mom and Dad over the past years.

The funeral service will be conducted at Stoney Creek Baptist Church, 2225 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior.  A private family interment to have taken place that morning.

For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be livestreamed:  Livestream of the funeral service for Elsie Bloomfield
