Daniel Peter Sensabaugh
October 3, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Sensabaugh, at Victoria Hospital in London on October 3rd, 2023 with family by his side.
Danny was born in Owen Sound, Ontario, and joined the Canadian Armed Forces at 18 years old, marrying the love of his life Barbra the following year. They were stationed throughout Canada and Germany during his career with the CAF, before he retired into his second career with Ryder Logistics Canada.
Danny is survived by his wife Barbra; sons Christopher (Regan) and Bradley (Colleen); his three cherished grandchildren Abby, Carter and Rowan and best friend Rick. We cannot forget his best buddy Charlie the Conure.
Also surviving are siblings Dale (Ed), Judy (John), Pam (Paul), Darcy (Jenny), Charlene (Paul), and stepmother Sandy. Predeceased by his mother (Mildred) and father (Peter), brother Kurt, and stepfather (Allan).
Danny’s life work focused on transportation, as his love of cars and driving was unmatched. He was still planning trips to the very last minute and had big dreams to see more places in the world.
Danny was a kind soul who was a friend to all who crossed his path. He will be greatly missed by friends and family across Canada, including his many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Danny’s celebration of life has been planned for Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Should you wish to make donations in his honour, Diabetes Canada would be grateful for your consideration.

Barb, There are no adequate words to say when someone like Dan leaves us. All we can do is be happy we were able to spend time and enjoy him while we could. Dan was a super guy and we have so many great memories to cherish. His infectious laugh and his great sense of humour were his trademarks and we will miss them and him. To Chris & Regan, Brad & Colleen, and all the grandkids, we send our deepest condolences. Dan was a very special guy, and one we are very proud to have had the priviledge of knowing.
