We only knew John professionally, but it was always great chatting with him. He tried to make himself available whenever we needed, and was always able to look at a problem from different standpoints. My favourite thing about John was that while he was travelling for work, he always was focused on getting home to his family and friends. Our condolences to his family - he will truly be missed.

As an advisor who would seek special tax and investment planning advice from John, I can attest that he was excellent to work with because he truly cared.
