Peacefully at University Hospital, with family by his side, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, George Calvin Alexander of London, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Joan (Sidwell) Alexander for almost 60 years. Loving father of Brenda and her husband John, and Stephen and his wife Anita. Proud Grandpa of Abbi, Erin, Josh, and Emily, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date in Robin Hill Cemetery.

George was my first supervisor when I was at the Free Press. I always had the greatest respect for him and consider him a mentor. He often spoke of travelling, country music and most importantly, his family. My condolences to you Joan and your family. Mike Beach
