SO Sorry to hear of Me!ba's passing. She will be missed. Melba was a member of the Merry Makers singing group. Besides having a good voice she enjoyed participating in our sing outs at the seniors residents. . She played the harmonica and various skits. Melba was involved with sporting activities with Huff and Puff in previous years Sing with the Angels Melba. We will miss you

To Dani, Nick, Jeff and Ed, condolences from the Lynch family. Melba was a great Lady and definitely a roll model on how to live life. Over the years I remember her laughing at Don and I and just calling us out on the nonsense we were up to, stopping into to where I worked in Collingwood (Beer Store) with the Huff n Puff crew and taking care of her Grand Children. All of Don's friends remember Melba as another of the great Moms we were lucky to have. RIP Melba.

Sending sincere sympathies to the family of Melba. My parents, Norm and Dorothy Bray, were friends of Melba's and they all attended Gethsemane United Church years ago in London here. I reconnected with Melba through Rowntree United Church. Such a beautiful smile and always a kind word. May you find comfort in the memories.

To our favourite aunt - Whenever we heard that aunt Melba and her family were coming to Inverhuron, we knew that there would be good times, good humour and good stories. She was an astute story teller in a family of competitive story tellers. Her stories were always marked by her sharp and insightful wit. Even if you were on the receiving end of that wit, you laughed along with her! That is what we will miss the most – those wonderful times shared at Inverhuron, with Melba, Wally, Ed, Don and Jeff, Dani and Nick. Randy and Terri Threndyle

Our sincerest condolences to Jeff,Ed, Danni and Nick on the passing of Aunt Melba. Although I am stuck to think of any particular moment I know that any time Mom or Dad mentioned the Woods were coming to town/Inverhuron I looked forward to seeing Aunt Melba. Her sole purpose seemed to be to make you laugh, she would always come armed with a joke or some crazy story. I like to say that she was a "fan favourite" at our family gatherings.
